Health Care Criteria The Baldrige Health Care Criteria for Perfomance Excellence are a validated set of characteristics of high-performing organizations. The Health Care Criteria provide a road-map to excellence for health care organizations. The criteria are like a reference guide - don't feel that reading it cover to cover is the way to move your organization from good to great. You have to get into the criteria and use it to help guide decision-making. Leaders that use the criteria effectively typically have dog-eared, marked-up copies of the criteria that they use on a frequent basis.
If you are a first-time user of the criteria, I recommend that you start by reviewing the Core Values and Concepts starting on page 49 of the Health Care Criteria. After reading them, if you believe that the Baldrige Core Values align with what you aspire to for your organization, then the Baldrige Health Care Criteria are a road map to help you get there...and Core Values Partners, Inc., can help you use the Criteria to focus, align, and accelerate your performance excellence efforts. | Download Baldrige Health Care Criteria (pdf)
